Information Session: NPO Management and Leadership Programme
The information session will comprise of an address from the Interim Head of ACI-SA, the Programme Coordinator and Alumni. They all will demonstrate the teaching approaches applied in the programme, and show how these have impacted on different projects led by graduates from the programme. The application process, fees and the teaching mode will be discussed.
Information Session: Cooperatives Management Programme 2022
The Cooperatives Management Programme is a suitable training course for directors, managers and leaders of agricultural, sewing, manufacturing and multi-purpose cooperatives. This programme offers practical skills on day-to-day running of a cooperative, governance, financing, selling products and managing human affairs, workers and the co-operative establishment.
During the information day the Interim Head of ACI-SA will explain how the institute works, opportunities for cooperatives and what it means to take training from a cooperatively run institute. In addition the Programme Coordinator will explain in detail the training content. The application process, fees and additional support will be explained.
Expo Days: ACI-SA Cooperative Membership Opportunity
The expo is intended to showcase various opportunities available for ordinary members of the public to become members of ACI/SA.

ACI-SA Inaugural Annual Lecture
Theme: Resuscitating the South African Cooperative Movement: Lessons and Possibilities
The lecture seeks to attract cooperatives, their members, leaders of society, youth, community organisers, private and govt. Sector practitioners on coops.
The lecture will be livestreamed on various ACI/SA platforms.

Webinar: Opportunities for Secondary and Tertiary Cooperatives
This event is targeted at agricultural, recycling and manufacturing cooperatives wishing to upscale their operations by bringing together capital resources.
Case studies of both successful and unsuccessful secondary and tertiary cooperatives will be discussed. Practical advice will be shared with those who wish to consider these options.

This seminar is intended to share information about joining the Co-ops Association and Retail Network. The benefits offered by the Association and Retail network will be dealt with in detail.
This seminar is intended for cooperative leaders in South Africa. The administrator of the network will answer questions pertaining to membership benefits and fee structures.

Forum: Cooperative Chairperson’s - Governing and Building Financially Sustainable Cooperatives
This forum is for cooperative chairpersons who seek a platform to share their experiences of leading cooperatives and to share best practice about working with cooperative members, growing a cooperative and ensuring financial sustainability. The forum will also produce a report that will be shared with government based stakeholders, private sector, the broader cooperative sector and with international organisations interested in the work of South African cooperatives.
The forum is founded on the principle that cooperatives must be well governed and chairpersons need to ensure this at all times. This forum will then engage directly the issues of profitability, financial sustainability and the role of chairpersons in ensuring that their governance results in success.
Forum Fees: R494
Forum packs and bags will be couriered to those joining the event virtually. The pack includes contact lists of international organisations looking for collaborations with South African Cooperatives, material on governance and financial sustainability management.
